Congratulations on the Closing of The First National Conference on the Frontiers of Cancer Research Design and Analysis

Cancer is the main killer in China. According to the 2015 Malignant Tumors Incidence and Mortality Analysis in China published by National Cancer Center, 4.292 million people were diagnosed with cancer and 2.814 of the population died of cancer in 2015, showing the urgent need of cancer prevention and treatment research.



To promote cancer research, enhance research capabilities, and the professional level of journal editors and managers, China Anti-Cancer Association Journal Publishing Committee held The First National Conference on the Frontiers of Cancer Research Design and Analysis in Guangzhou from February 28 to March 1 in 2019.

Dozens of cancer research experts were invited to the conference to give speeches on some hot-spot issues, including cancer big data analysis, biomarkers exploration, construction and application of disease models, clinical research design, research process quality control, achievement transformation policy and strategy, achievement declaration, etc. Furthermore, over 500 participants from medical, biochemistry, engineering technology biology information, scientific research institute are welcomed.

At the same time, the China Anti-Cancer Association Journal Publishing Special Committee meeting was held, in which the 2019 key work deployment was discussed and the decision to hold the second National Conference on the Frontiers of Cancer Research Design and Analysis in Beijing in 2020 was made.

Guangzhou Concord Cancer Center is the co-organizer of this national conference. It aims to be a medical high ground by providing patients with advanced and patient-centered care services and promote the national cancer research to a new level.
